Mid-North FM Radio NetworkFounded in August 1990 by businessman Paulo Guimarães, in partnership with businessman Fernando Sarney, the station was called Mirante FM, and was based in Timon.
Like the homonymous station in São Luís, the station had its content aimed at a young audience.
With the standardization of companies in the Meio Norte Communication System in 1995, the station was renamed Meio Norte FM, and moved from Timon to Teresina.From then on, the radio started to adopt a more popular line in its programming, abandoning the young audience and reaching all ages, in addition to directing its content to the state of Piauí, and no longer to Maranhão.
